From: Jesus David

…I would like to extend the invitation to the local ACT community to join us in this year’s food basket drive. We are looking for volunteers / delivery teams to deliver food to the less fortunate families in the Greater Rochester and surrounding communities. It is for a good cause and a great experience.

If you know of any interested ACT members, please send a note to myself or Marge Provencal. We would ask volunteers (teams) for the following information:

  • name of your driving partner (we recommend driving in teams or pairs)
  • type of vehicle you will be driving
  • your office and cell phone numbers
  • how many trips you’d be willing to make
  • what time would you like to be scheduled (am or pm)

Thanks.

Jesus David

ACT Rochester Chapter Announcement

From Manisha Mande:

Within a few days the holidays will be upon us and soon we will reflect upon the year that has passed. As 2006 comes to a close, I realize that A.C.T has been very busy this year. Kudos go out to my core team consisting of Siddhartha Bhattacharya and Pushpa Gogineni for their tireless efforts in pitching in no matter what the ask. They worked energetically to bring a varied set of programs to the A.C.T constituents throughout the year. I hope you have enjoyed not only the events but also made new friends in the process. I know I have. Special thanks also go out to Ronna Treier for her unwavering support and guidance in making the Rochester Chapter such a success.

Prior to my departure as Rochester A.C.T President, I am pleased to announce that Botao Kocz has agreed to become the Rochester Chapter President for the year 2007. Please join me in welcoming Botao in her new role and hope you will provide her with your continued support in the New Year. Botao will announce her team under separate cover.

Regards,

Manisha Mande
