On May 12, 2008, a 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck central China. Over 40,000 (still counting) people lost their lives and 3.5 million homes have been destroyed. Please help to support relief efforts for a disastrous situation that’s still unfolding.

Don Liu Event in Rochester

In an intiative led by Botao Kocz, the ACT Rochester Chapter hosted a dinner with guest speaker Don Liu. He gave an inspiring speech about his experience as an Asian-American and how to break through the “bamboo ceiling.”

Introduction to the Mentorship Program

On February 8, 2008, Patricia Hill from TWA led an orientation to the Mentorship program.The attached document shows how to get started in the program, and how to benefit from the program. There’s a Frequently Asked Questions section, which outlines the protocol for establishing a mentor/mentee relationship.

Career Planning Seminar

Since last year, ACT President Ashok Gupta has been conducting excellent seminars on how to energize your career through self confidence, networking and mentorship. His tenure with Xerox has given him the experience to inspire other employees. These events have received positive feedback from the attendees!
